I have really neglected my self care lately. I've been so busy that I haven't worked out in weeks and I can't even say my diet is particularly healthy. That ends today.
One of the things I've missed doing is a cup of herbal tea in the evenings, as I wind down the day toward bed. I found the handiest mug earlier this year. It has a little pocket in the back to hold the used tea bag. Tonight it will be Hibiscus Mint tea.
Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

Herbal Tea and Blood Pressure
There is some research to show that drinking hibiscus tea can significantly lower blood pressure. A study presented to the American Heart Association showed that drinking three cups of hibiscus tea daily can lower systolic blood pressure readings by an average of 7 points. That might not seem like much, but studies have shown that any decrease is a good thing. So drink up!
